ABOUT US
The non-profit, registered association Aerarium Luftschifftechnik e.V. has set itself the task of familiarizing interested students
and scientists as well as people outside of the university framework with balloon and airship technology.
In addition to possible financial support for aerostatic research projects, contacts and know-how in the field of aerostatics are primarily conveyed.
The association acts as an initiator of projects as well as an active link between individual projects.
Donations are welcome to support the projects and further work. Tax-effective donation receipts can be issued.

Excerpt from the statutes of Aerarium Luftschifftechnik e.V .:
- The purpose of the association is to promote science, research, culture and education in the field of aerostatic flying machines. The association is dedicated to the construction and operation of aerostats, such as airships, free balloons, tethered balloons and machines, which owe at least part of their flight characteristics to aerostatic lift.
- The purpose of the association should be achieved through:
- Scientific research in the field of aerostatic aeronautics
- Promotion of technical and scientific work in the aerospace disciplines, especially in the field of aerostatic aeronautics
- Implementation of educational measures
- Scientific collaboration to strengthen the technology transfer from the university to the economy
- Promotion of training and support for young professionals
- Introducing young people and students to science, technology and air sports
- Practical activity in the design, construction, testing, maintenance and operation of aerostatic flying machines and their facilities
- Sports operations with aerostats from flight models to aircraft
- Participation in competitions
- Information and public relations
- Cooperation with national, foreign and international organizations and associations with the same or similar objectivess
